The Green Line of Bangalore Metro/Namma Metro is part of the mass transit rail system for the city of Bangalore, India, It is also known as North-South Corridor of Bangalore. The 24.20 km line connects Nagasandra to Yelachenahalli. The line connects the northern, central, and southern regions of Bangalore. The Green Line is mostly elevated, with 21 elevated stations and 3 underground stations. The Majestic station is the common station between the purple line and the green line. It serves as an interchange station with the Purple Line.
When Phase II will complete, it will span a total length of 40.10 km (24.917 mi) from the Bengaluru International Exhibition Center in the northern suburbs to Anjanpura in the southern suburbs. Due to the difficult tunneling conditions, the completion of Phase I of this line was delayed several times.

Trains operated on the Green Line from 6 am to 11 pm. This was extended from 1 December 2015 to 5 am 11 pm. The frequency along the line is 15Min between 5 AM to 8 AM And 8PM to 11 PM and 10 Minutes between 8 AM to 8 PM. Trains stop at each station for 30 seconds. The 14.27 km stretch of Reaches 3, 3A, and UG2 is covered in 24 minutes, which is much less than the 45 minutes required by road. Each six-coach train has a capacity of 2,004 passengers.
