Delhi Metro Pink Line Or Line 7 is a metro map rail line of the DMRC, which is a rapid transit system in Delhi, India. Pink Line is being constructed as part of the Delhi Metro Phase 3 network development plan.
This Line route includes 38 metro stations from Majlis Park in North Delhi to Shiv Vihar. In the future, the line will be extended to Maujpur-Babarpur by creating one of the world’s longest ring lines in the city. The Shiv Vihar route from Maujpur-Babarpur will then work as a branch line.
Line 7 with a length of 58.59 kilometers (36.41 mi), is the longest individual line in the DMRC, breaking the record set by the operational Blue Line (except the branch line). It is mostly high and covers Delhi in an almost ‘U’ shaped pattern. Line 7 is also known as the Ring Road Line, as the entire line passes along Delhi’s busy Ring Road, witnessing massive traffic jams every day.
The Dhaula Kuan route at Pink Line is the highest point of the DMRC, passing over the Dhaula Kuan Grade Separator Flyover and Airport Express Line at an altitude of 23.6 meters. It also has the country’s smallest metro station, the Ashram, which is just 151.6 meters in size compared to the normal 265 meters. In addition, the platform for the six-coach train is 140 meters but has been reduced to 135 meters at the ashram station.

The DMRC Pink Line Interchanges with most of the operational lines of the network such as Red Line at Netaji Subhash Place and Yellow Line at Azadpur and Green Line at Punjabi Bagh West, The Blue line at Rajouri Garden, Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Anand Vihar, and Karkardooma, Dhaula Kuan of Delhi Airport Metro Express (Orange Line), Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus, Violet Line at Lajpat Nagar, as well as Hazrat Nizamuddin and Anand Vihar Terminal (Indian Railways) and ISBT at Anand Vihar and Sarai Kale Khan.
